If Elands Bay has ever given you:

– A good wave on a flat day elsewhere
– A place to breathe, reset, or reconnect
– A memory of those golden sunset sessions

Then this is your chance to give something meaningful back.

Since our Elands Bay branches inception almost 10 years ago the programme has been growing and growing fast.

More kids are turning up. More boards, more laughter, more energy and while that’s a beautiful problem to have, it’s also showing us that the clubhouse needs upgrades. We need proper showers and toilets so kids can wash off the salt and sand after surf sessions, safer and more functional space overall and the infrastructure to support more young hearts and minds.

Nigel often says what drives him most is this:

“Going the distance means no one is left behind, no child is left unloved and no community is left untouched.”

That’s the quiet power of Elands Bay.

It’s the feeling of arriving after a long drive and instantly exhaling.
The feeling kids get when they know they’re safe after school.
The feeling of being welcomed, included and part of something bigger than yourself.

Years from now, the children who pass through the Elands Bay clubhouse may not remember every lesson or every surf session but they will remember how it felt to be protected, encouraged and believed in.

That’s what we’re building.

Not just walls and showers, but a space that leaves a lasting imprint, the kind that stays with you long after the waves fade and the train disappears into the distance.

The plans are ready.
The team is ready.
What’s standing between us and breaking ground is funding.

That’s why we’re launching Create a Legacy in Elands Bay a campaign inviting 1,000 people to donate R1,000 each to help us transform and expand the clubhouse so it can continue to serve the kids who need it most.

This isn’t just about upgrades, it’s about reciprocity.

Give back with heart

This is us, as a community, taking care of what we love and giving the next generation a space where they can grow, learn and feel truly supported.

One day soon, we want to look back and say: we didn’t just visit Elands Bay; we built something here that lasts.

Together, we can turn love for a place into lasting impact! Donate here.
