On the West Coast of South Africa lies a sleepy coastal village called Elands Bay – home to South Africa’s best left-hand surf spot – and yet the kids in the community have no positive activities to engage them, and are not water savvy.

How it all started…

The Elands Bay Surf Project was established in September 2016 when our team from Cape Town collaborated with The Board Box and “10 Days 10 Nights” and ventured to Elands Bay to host a Life Empowerment Surf Clinic for the youth within the community.

Current operations…

The kids really crept into our hearts and we saw the need to make the youth development programme a permanent feature…

Since then our team from Cape Town has been travelling up the West Coast every 6 weeks to see our amazing Ebay kids and we usually spend five jam-packed days with them – surfing, doing life skills lessons, hanging out and just having fun!

On 14 March we will once again be heading down to Elands and we require your support to make it a successful trip. Sponsor a child for only R380 per child and help us to bring life empowerment to the West Coast.
