We are so excited about another amazing youth development project that has just launched and which will running for a year!

7 youth in the community of Strandfontein have received scholarships (worth over R40k) to learn French thanks to a partnership with Alliance Française du Cap.

This programme is part of the project “Alliance 3.0”, funded by the Principality of Monaco, in partnership with
the Fondation Alliance Francaise.

Speaking French is a skill needed in several fields in South Africa: tourism, education, call-centres and
business with French-speaking countries.

The goal of this specific programme is to empower young people by empowering them with new skills so that they can increase their work opportunities.

The students attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we provide transport and holistic support to them.

This will open so many doors and opportunities for them ~ especially in the tourism and hospitality industries ~ and we are so grateful to be a part of this journey…
