This afternoon, we hosted another Community CAB (Come and Buy Without Money), transforming generosity into hope as families browsed through pre-loved clothing, household items and everyday essentials, all completely free, thanks to the kindness of our incredible donors, partners and supporters.Mid morning the queues began to grow. There was laughter, anticipation and excitement in the air. One by one, people walked away with bags full of items, but more importantly, with smiles that spoke louder than words.Because of your generosity, we were able to serve close to 200 households, with almost every donated item finding a new home where it will be loved and used again.A heartfelt thank you to @ackermans_, @radissonredcpt and @commchestwc for your generous support, and to every volunteer, donor and partner who helped make today possible. It’s because of you that our community could shop with dignity.Today wasn’t just about giving away clothes or household items. It was about restoring confidence, easing challenges and reminding someone that they matter. Sometimes, the greatest gift isn’t what you place in someone’s hands, it’s the hope you place back in their heart.Happy Friday everyone!
